"Nagi no Asukara" is a fantastical ensemble drama animation depicting the wavering emotions of boys and girls in a world divided between sea and land and inhabited by humans. The well-known art director Mr.Kazuki Higashiji and staffs of the Nagi no Asukara visited Kumano city for location coverage. Many places such as Atashika beach and its around and JR train Hadasu station are depicted as models.
